South India.
The project documents houses slowly eroded by neglect, inheritance disputes, and urban change. Beyond architecture, it reflects on the memories and cultural identities carried within these homes, and what is lost when they vanish. Designed as a limited-edition book, Unmoored combines field photography and editorial design to create a reflective object: not simply a record of fading spaces, but a meditation on cultural amnesia and the fragile relationship between progress and memory.
Originally developed as a graduation project in Visual Communication, the book was produced in print as a limited-edition, seventy-page publication.
